Sometimes to me it seems that it you pass up a sale then you have wasted money. If you don't spend the money when you have the chance to save big. Then you’re actually losing money in the long run because you could’ve had it and been happy. Now you don’t have it and you kick yourself for not “capitalizing”.
Cinco de mayo caught me in a ‘la plaza’ looking at tires for my ’79 schwinn’ cause with it getting ready to be my first hot ass Georgia summer in awhile, I gotta work on my fitness. Cycling and swimming are whats gonna hopefully get me where I wanna be.
Anyways I was near a pawnshop and the ‘back to school computer/gun sale’ just roped me the fuck in.
I go in and check out the stuff and I see two things that catch my eye. A MPC 1000 and a Nikon 35mm camera with a wicked lens on it. So I’m just like damn I could get it and just write it off as a ‘cinco de mayo present’ but I know that I don’t think I’d rock with them for too long because I’m so….I have a lot of things I enjoy doing but I focus on one thing single mindedly until I find something new. Like when I had a few guitars and was getting nice with the guitar, I put that down and got back into beat making. I dived back into producing and it felt good.
This is something I found circa 2005, my “young fresh to death days”.
I was young; I had hot beats, a grill and a girlfriend so pretty ‘other girls wanted to give her a kiss.’ You couldn’t tell me I wasn’t that dude!

I'm diggin Stacy Epps
I first heard this chick on 'eye' and my first thoughts were like 'damn this song is hot as shit and it's only like a minute long!' So I checked the chick singing on 'eye' out and found out her name is Stacy Epps and she's from Atlanta. She's got a single out with her spittin', called 'floating' which is tight as hell...her other song I like is 'deep' I mean her voice is kinda like...Erykah mixed with Corinne...but real hip like though...

Everytime she bang bang he skeet skeet
So Adam meets this girl at the club the other night right? takes her home, girl is ready to go on the bed butt ass naked...Adam is in the bathroom giving his dick a pep talk like ...
"come on, get up
get ready. let's go"
Again I'm always habitually late on the some of the music hotness but I like to think I'm getting better... I first heard "stay up (viagra)" on that "can't tell me nothing mixtape" and I could relate cause my dick has let me down before and some girls are quick to give everything but "oral support"
So when I saw that the album was out I had to cop... The album is dope and told like a story from waking up with morning wood, wining and dining a girl and ending up in the friend zone; having a 3 pack of magnums and fuckin four times in one night, getting burnt by a chick and having said chick who burnt you come around four months later saying
"Feel my stomach, I'm gonna have your baby, we're gonna be a family I love you"
And is got one of my new fave rappers Kid Cudi so check it out, I give it two toes up!
ho is short for honey ft. kid cudi - 88-Keys

What's up with the cookie?
With a name as cool as Lupe Fiasco and a 1/4 of the lyricism. I'm always suprised that girls fuck with songs like these, like last night this started to come on and hella girls were like "This is my shit!"... I remember the first time I heard "dump dat dick" it was just like that too.
I flucks with this song...Yeah, it's not real hip-hop,and it's pretty misogynistic but I like.
What do y'all think?

Lemonhead delight 2
Yesterday I started the purging process... I realized that I'm a real sentimental packrat, movie stubs from dates (the Syriana date disaster fiasco), hotel reciepts from when I was I bahrain, a shit ton of foreign coins, stickers from Iceland and Denmark and my diary / journal full of juicy hits, misses and sexcapades! As I was deciding what to keep, I thought of how cool it would be to give my albums and stuff to an heir or heiress. Now that's really weird because I don't believe in children 'till after like 25. So yeah... anyways I'm like 43.4% packed up and ready to leave the apt. So to celebrate I went digging!
I think I like diggin so much cause it's just relaxing and like going into a time capsule. I believe I "manifested" Marvin Gaye's "Here my Dear". The album is filled with so much emotion because after his divorce, he couldn't pay allimony, so his ex was entitled to a cut of his next album, so he beared his soul and said "here my dear".
I actually went to Lenox mall to see her Blu Cantrell when I was like in 10th grade I think, I gave her a hug and she performed and signed a copy of her one and only single.
I learned the words to this when I was in 5th grade... I couldn't add to save my life but I could sing the hell out of this song!
I see some album covers and I think two things.
1. You couldn't tell some of these mufuckas they weren't fly on their cover!
2. In the eighties, if you were a man and you didn't look like a girl, have a curl or slang dope. You better be light skinned 'cause you weren't gettin no play.

More fire!
Just some pick ups.. Sade is a beast, I mean I've been on lovers rock of course, but damn... and the Santana album I bought is off the yazabah for reals. I had no idea Usher was singing on that Poetic Justice soundtrack, I saw a album called "Call me a mack" with him lookin young as hell. But when I first moved to Georgia, my mom stayed in Sandy Springs which is kinda like where "new new" lived in ATL... I was going to Woodland elementary and I remember this kid that stayed in my complex giving us these tapes of his brother or cousin he stayed with "Usher". I can't think of the song name but it was before My way.... Who woulda thunk it?

Don't bite the D
1.Lil' Wayne says fuck mixtape DJs.
2. .DJ's say fuck Lil Wayne right back and leak his album.
I told my homeboy about that and he was all like "lil wayne is smart, he doesn't want MC getbusy and DJ Local joker putting his shit out there! Just official DJ's!"
I told that man he's a damn fool for saying that. I wish we weren't at work when I told him so I could send him to his room to think about the bullshit he just said! How the fuck are you gonna bite the hand that feeds you when these same MC Getbusy's are keeping you hot in the streets? Even though that DJ might take some heat, I damn sure feel where he's comin from... So now it looks like Phareezy is the only album I'm gonna cop on the 10th.
It's funny how things work out.

Quest for the crown
This is something I've kinda been watching for a real hot minute... I remember first hearing D4L saying something about TI not really being from Bankhead and all that. So now it's coming to a head you got Shawty Lo runnin' around with TI's high school picture and you got TI on the radio saying dudes like a "Dog barkin at the moon, the dog doesn't even know why it's barkin and the moons just gonna keep on shining." So I'm really interested to see what TI's next move is gonna be after this...

J* Davey baby

Jack Davey or J*Davey is that hot fish grease for reals! Now I love all types of music, I mean except really for a lot of new rock and emo stuff, and of course country. I just can't get into a lot of new stuff too much but if catches my ear I'll listen. My roomate is obsessed with cleanliness so like if company was over on a friday night, you better believe saturday morning it's time to clean. So everytime we cleaned he'd put on this girl J*Davey and the more and more I heard it, the more and more I liked it until I finally started humming it and wanted to hear more of that shit. J*Davey is actually two people, a singer and a producer. The producer is just some dude named Brooke and his beats are pretty freaky, but Jack Davey, she's a really pretty modelesque chick with a mohawk, and a sexy throaty playful voice, kinda like a Fiona Apple with a Erykah Badu swagger about herself. So check her out on Imeem or Limewire, the only bad thing is she's unsigned and a lot of her stuff is hard to find, like she might drop an EP and if you don't get it, you're assed out. Take a listen to "This One" "Relax" "Mr. Mister" "Might As Well" and she remixed Frank Zappa's "Dirty Love" and it is crushin.
oh yeah she's got a pretty sweet blog too.
